Iceland Sigöldugljufur Canyon
An impressive canyon with several waterfalls a bit aside from Landmannalaugar tracks. One needs to be careful as there is no protection near the cliffs that are falling right in the canyon. Yet this provides a great view into the canyon. This spot is a true gem in the Icelandic highlands. You can capture multiple waterfalls in a row and the water is extremely blue. Also worth checking it out with a drone.
Photography Tips
The spot is interesting in the morning (not too early to get light into it) and at sunset (in particular like here after a big storm. Bring a wide-angle lens to capture as much as possible. You must walk close to the edge to capture waterfalls and the rivers. Be careful!
