Iceland Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon
In 2015, Justin Bieber filmed a music video in Iceland’s Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon resulting in dramatically increased visitation. Local authorities subsequently closed the area for two years because tourists were destroying the vegetation all along the canyon rim. It was reopened in 2020 with improved viewpoints and strict guidelines on where it is permissible to hike.

The spot is interesting in the morning (not too early to get light into it) and at sunset (in particular like here after a big storm. Bring a wide-angle lens to capture as much as possible. You must walk close to the edge to capture waterfalls and the rivers. Be careful!
