About the location
Built in 1997, the bridge spans the mouth of the Singapore River and provides a low-level perspective that emphasizes the scale of the surrounding skyscrapers. The wide pedestrian paths allow for stable tripod setups, which is crucial for capturing the complex light patterns of the bay at night. From this location, you can also photograph the unique architecture of the Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay, known locally as the 'durians' for their spiked appearance. It's a versatile spot that works well for both panoramic cityscapes and intimate street photography.
