The area around Gimsoy is for sure one of the best when looking for Northern Lights. Even though they did not show up that night, it is still a fantastic area for night shootings.

Photography Tips

Best to bring a wide-angle lens with an f/2.8 and a tripod.

The only way to get there is by car - I had a local guide for this tour, but you can also just drive around yourself.
