Norway Reine - Ferry Docking Point
Reine is one of the most beautiful places in Lofoten. If not in whole Norway. It is an ancient little fishing village placed on a small peninsula surrounded by beautiful mountains. Close by is the most famous photo spot in Lofoten - Hamnøy. A steep hike up to Mnt. Reinbringen gives you a stunning view over Reine.
Photography Tips
Hike the town to get more intimate compositions of the beautiful fishing huts. At the entrance of the town (at the E10 crossing), you will also get one of the classic shots of Reine.
Travel Information
There are several ways to get to Reine/Lofoten. You can take a flight to Bodø via Oslo, rent a car, and take the ferry to Moskenes. Depending on where you're from, you can drive the whole way up to Lofoten. Or you can jump on a Hurtigruten ferry.
Across the town, there are several parking lots for a day visit. If you plan to stay a bit longer, you can either rent one of the beautiful fisher huts called Rorbu, or if you're travelling with a camper or RV, you can stay right at the harbour with a beautiful view of Reine. Be aware that food and especially alcohol are extremely expensive.
