The summit of Festvagtinden offers a spectacular photo opportunity all along the fjords around the city of Henningsvaer.

Photography Tips

Turn around in all directions, pack all your lenses with you and go for the midnight sun. Even in bad weather conditions, you can be luckily rewarded with the craziest light shows up there.

Travel Information

Parking close to the trail head is very limited. Try to get here during the midnight sun in summer. The hike itself is not an easy one since it's mostly steep uphill and on gravel. The height which needs to be climbed is around 530m in only 1.2km. So be prepared for a steep hike!
