Trolldalen is a little spot between Stamsund and Valberg. If you take the road FV 815 in the direction of Valberg you will find a little lake on the right hand side of the road. There are a few parking spaces alongside the road.

Photography Tips

The spot is very diversed. You can get some nice seascpaes / reflections of moutnains in daytime and you get a fantastic view to the east where the northern lights often appear right after dawn.

Travel Information

Take the road FV 815 from Leknes to Svolvær. After ca 5-6 km you will see a little lake (Trolldalstjønna) on the right hand side. There are some parking spaces alongside the road. They might not all be visible in wintertime, but mostly there is at least one or two where the snow is removed,
