Norway Skjelfjorden (Nordsanden), Lofoten

Skjelfjorden is a 7-kilometer-long fjord located on the southern side of Flakstadøya in Flakstad Municipality, Lofoten. It stretches northward from the Vestfjorden and is surrounded by dramatic peaks like Sautinden (794 m), Stjerntinden (934 m), and Blåfjellkammen (482 m). The fjord is divided into areas like Indre and Ytre Skjelfjord, connected by local roads.
Skjelfjorden is a quiet, less-touristy area ideal for those seeking tranquility and scenic drives. Small sandy beaches and rocky shores line the eastern side, offering peaceful views and a glimpse into local life.
