This is a view from the top of a cruise ship I was on to the waterfront on the west side of the harbor. However just to the east of the marker there is a wonderful hill marked Akershus Festning with nearly an identical view.

Photography Tips

This is an easy shot where just about any lens and shutter speed will provide a nice result. The sun sets quite late here in the summer. This shot was taken not long after 10PM so it's not so much of a golden hour as a golden evening

Travel Information

I was there on a cruise ship, but there was a train station very close and plenty of roads and parking.
