Photography Tips

No flash or tripod allowed unless you pay the chapel the privilege. Low light lens and camera a good choice here. Visit on a sunny day. The architecture is phenomenal. You can pay to have the chapel to yourself for around £170 (last time I checked) but you only get one hour. I plan my trips wisely. Shoot through the day. Then come closing, around an hour before the chapel usually empties quickly therefore you have the chapel to yourself somewhat.

Travel Information

Travel from Norwich to Cambridge via train. Walk to the chapel. It’s not far. Bikes aren’t allowed. Take a good bike lock. Parking is available but pricey. There is an entrance fee. Try to stay on the right side of the staff. DO NOT attempt to use your flash because it could damage the Adoration of the Magi painting.
