Wildhorse Window is a large natural bridge associated with a cave in the San Rafael Reef, just south of Temple Mountain. The bridge is massive and very impressive when you see it in person. You need moderate route finding skills as you cross open desert country to get to the window.

Travel Information

From I-70, turn south on SR 24 south toward Hanksville then turn right to head toward Goblin Valley State Park and Temple Mountain. Then turn left toward Goblin Valley. We took the third dirt road on the right and followed it until we had basically a straight shot to the cave. We parked at a small unmarked parking area where you can see what appears to be a dark cave one mile in the distance. (GPS - 38.6475074, -110.6627183). The trailhead overlooks Temple Wash. Follow the obvious trailhead down into Temple Wash and then climb up the far side. On top, look west and you'll see the large cave, which contains the Window. The cave/bridge is also known as the Eyes of Sinbad. Hike cross-country to the Window.
