This place in the northern part of Chicago near Lincoln Park Zoo offers a beautiful view towards the skyline of the city. Especially the curve of the waterfront is a great element that can be used as a foreground for your photo.

Photography Tips

A tripod is as always for spots like this highly recommended, especially if you want to photograph the skyline during blue hour. Multiple exposures can also help to reduce the chance of having a blown-out pure white colour in the windows and lights of the skyline.

Travel Information

There is parking directly nearby north of the photo spot itself but during the day it's probably the best choice to get there by train and simply walk along the beautiful coast.
