I would try to get at a weekday to the rooftop bar since at weekends it can get very busy and hard to get a shot with a lot of people sitting by the railing.

It's probably impossible to use a tripod up there I guess?! Would have loved to know this spot when I was in Chicago... such a crazy beautiful view, thanks for sharing dear Enis!

Its a new rooftop bar, I don't think it was there when you visited Chicago. Tripod would be very risky, but I have heard that people have done it before, nonetheless I would stick to hand-held shots, because this way you won't be thrown out and can enjoy your time :)
