USA Upper Tahquamenon Falls, Michigan

Upper and Lower Falls are a beautiful location to combine a nice hiking round with some beautiful nature feelings near the river. It leads through old-growth forest, past massive cedars, hemlocks and beautiful wildflowers.

Before you fly in the USA you need to get your drone license and finish the registration process. Especially on that location you need to get a permit for your flight from the local tourism board. Please ask them before cause there are drone signs where drones aren´t allowed.

Use your drone for a nice landscape panorama. If it is so bright outside I would recommend a ND filter.

You can reach Tahquamenon Falls in Michigan easily by driving to either the Upper or Lower Falls parking areas, both well signed and close to the main road. From there, you can take the scenic 6.5 km River Trail, which connects the two falls and offers a beautiful hike through old-growth forest. If you prefer a shorter visit, each waterfall area also has its own accessible boardwalks and loop trails starting right from the parking lot.
