Greenland Icebergs in Charcot Havn, Scoresbysund
Charcot Havn is a small natural harbor on Milne Land, surrounded by rugged mountains and the Charcot Glacier. The area is ideal for hiking, with open tundra and gentle slopes offering beautiful views across the bay and surrounding landscape.
A Zodiac ride through Charcot Havn at sunrise, with huge icebergs towering above the calm water and their reflections creating a surreal, mirror-like scene. On a lucky morning, the fjord feels almost completely still, turning the ice into an even more impressive spectacle.

Photography Tips
When launching from a moving zodiac, take off into the wind from a clear part of the deck and consider hand-catching when landing. And always keep a close eye on the wind and battery — flying away from a moving boat can quickly eat into your return time, especially in the unpredictable conditions around this fjord system.
