Explore the best places for photography at Hallstatt, Austria

Hallstatt is a small village with around 1000 inhabitants at Lake Hallstatt (ger. Hallstätter See), located in the Salzkammergut region of Austria.
In general, the town is known for its salt production in prehistoric times. Photographers will know Hallstatt for the iconic view of the old town with the church in the center. The photos may not look like it, but this place is extremely touristic today and pretty popular among Asian visitors. For this reason it's recommended to prefer sunrise over sunset, if you want to be flexible about your camera position.
